Claverley In Bloom
Claverley in Bloom is a volunteer-led project dedicated to brightening our village with beautiful floral displays, wildlife-friendly planting, and community gardening. Since 2005, the group has transformed public spaces, worked with local schools on tree-planting projects, and proudly represented Claverley in regional “In Bloom” competitions — all while bringing people together to make our village bloom.
Claverley in Bloom is a volunteer-led project dedicated to making our village an even more beautiful place to live, work and visit. Since it began in 2005, the group has worked tirelessly to brighten Claverley with colourful floral displays, cared-for planters, and thoughtful planting schemes that support wildlife and pollinators.
Beyond flowers, Claverley in Bloom is about community. Volunteers of all ages come together to plant bulbs, maintain beds, and create welcoming green spaces throughout the village. The team works closely with Claverley Primary School and local groups on tree-planting and nature projects, helping younger generations discover the joy of growing and the importance of caring for the environment.
Each summer, their efforts transform our streets and green spaces, and the group regularly represents the village in regional and national “In Bloom” competitions — showcasing Claverley’s charm and community spirit to a wider audience.
New volunteers are always welcome, whether you have green fingers or just a little time to spare. If you’d like to get involved, support a planting day, or simply enjoy the blooms, Claverley in Bloom is a wonderful way to be part of village life.
